Lenzy Mora is a graphic designer and printmaker born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Working primarily with screen printing, linocut printing, illustration, and graphic design, her practice blends traditional printmaking techniques with contemporary digital processes. Her work is driven by a fascination with nature, mystical folklore, and the space where fantasy and realism intersect, often drawing from personal iconography to create imagery that feels both intimate and otherworldly. Mora’s process begins with drawing in ink, which is then scanned and layered digitally using Adobe Illustrator. These compositions are carefully prepared for print through hands-on methods such as mixing inks, preparing papers, setting up screens, and carving linoleum blocks. Each piece is printed by hand, emphasizing the tactile and labor-intensive nature of printmaking while allowing room for variation and imperfection. Currently, her focus is on creating cohesive collections centered around specific themes, as well as developing illustrated patterns for textiles and other surfaces. Through this work, Mora explores storytelling, symbolism, and repetition, building visual worlds that invite viewers into a balance of the familiar and the fantastical.
